Event Description:
Join us on Grandparents Day for some inter-generational fun! Grandparents get in for 1/2 price! We will have an awesome folk concert by Susan Picking at 2 pm in the multimedia gallery. This is included with membership or admission at no charge!
At 5 pm we will be hosting a FREE CONCERT and ICE CREAM Social in our outdoor learning adventure area! Free ice cream sundaes will be served while supplies last! We are thrilled to bring you this event in partnership with our friends from Lexington Park Independent Living and Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging.
KCDC will not be open for play during the free outdoor concert.

Location Details:
In Topeka's lovely Gage Park. There is construction on 10th Street. When turning onto 10th street from Gage, there are signs saying the road is closed. However, 10th is open all the way to the Discovery Center from Gage. If you are coming from Fairlawn, take 6th Street to Gage, turn right. Turn right on 10th Street, go until the road closes. Turn right and you will see us on the left side of the road.
