Join members of KNPS at the historic Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve on June 18 for presentations, wildflower walks, butterfly counting and information on gardening for pollinators. Visit the well preserved limestone home, barn and Fox Schoolhouse. Paved walking trails.
Activities scheduled include: Gardening with plants that attract butterflies; making and using dyes made from native plants; live demonstration of painting native plants and landscape; identifying and using native plants for medicinal purposes. There will be activities for kids to enjoy.
