Come enjoy our Dam Near 5K during HorseThief The Festival. Registration begins May 1, 2018 on www.horsetheifthefestival.com. This 5K takes you across the Dam located at the popular park, HorseThief Reservoir. Spend the day with us and then enjoy concerts in the evening!
This is for kids and adults of all ages. Run or walk.

What to Bring: Tennis shoes, water bottle, sunscreen, snack if you wish, and as always your positive attitudes!

Bike Across Kansas (BAK) - 2019

Join us JUNE 8-15, 2019 for Biking Across Kansas 2019 as we celebrate the 45th annual bicycle tour across the state. We know you’ll enjoy great bicycling along with the hospitality of Kansas; the beautiful landscapes and history of the state; great people from across the country and abroad; lots of fun and laughter; and adventures, memories, and friendships that will last your lifetime.

Event Description:

$20/rider; $10/non-riders. Registration begins at 9am. Variety of guided rides Saturday morning or ride on own. BBQ dinner at 1pm, followed by status report and live auction. Sunday - 7-8am, complimentary breakfast; 8am ,church service; 9am, guided rides or ride on own. Contact Perry State Park to reserve improved camp spot, 785-246-3449. Plentiful primitive camping.

Flint Hills Gravel Route

This route begins in South Central Nebraska on the north edge of the Flint Hills and meanders through Kansas ending in North Central Oklahoma. The route uses primarily gravel roads while occasionally using paved roads in urban areas.

Guided rides Saturday and Sunday am. $30 Registration includes Saturday evening meal and Sunday breakfast. Kids 12 & under, Free. Auction and door prizes follow Saturday evening meal. Three rides at varying speeds and lengths. Friday afternoon poker run, followed by potluck supper.

Navigate through unknown terrain using a special map and compass. Find specific locations marked with a flag. Race or hike, your choice. Perfect for kids or groups or individuals. all ages. Free for first-timers. Instruction available at each event. This event will have two options: on foot or on mountain bike. Can do either or both.

What to Bring: Bring your own mountain bike. No equipment needed for foot orienteering. Suggest a change of shoes and socks in case of wet or mud.
