Event Description:

Join the Kansas Horse Council for a weekend of riding the beautiful trails at Clinton Lake. Weekend includes Saturday evening meal, door prizes, and Sunday biscuits and gravy. A day ride and a shorter ride on Saturday and a 3-hour ride Sunday am. Registration: $25/KHC member; $35/non-member (kids 12 and under, $15). Campsites may be reserved up to 4 days in advance of ride at recreation.gov, enter Rockhaven Equestrian Campground. Any unreserved sites will be available on first come/first served basis.

What to Bring: Bring your own horse, and pack a lunch if riding all day Saturday. Horseshoes or hoof protection highly recommended.

Save the date for the Annual Lake Perry State Park Wild Horse Camp and Trails Fundraiser! Guided 1-hour, 2-hour, 3-hour rides or ride out on your own. Covered dish dinner at 1pm, with update from Friends Group, and auction. Burgers and hot dogs provided for dinner. Donations for auction welcome. Contact Perry State Park to reserve camping spot (elec/water) at 785-246-3449. Lots of primitive camp sites available, no reservation needed.

What to Bring: Bring a covered dish for the dinner and your lawn chair. Also bring any item(s) you would like to donate to the auction.
