Event Description:

Join the Pomona Ski Club, Rough Water Warriors, at noon for a disabled Sit Ski Clinic. Advance registration is required to ski. Enjoy ski time, music, food, beverages, and more all free provided by the Rough Water Warriors. More information coming soon. Held at the Jayhawk Marina on Hillsdale lake just south of Kansas City. See a short ski show following the day of skiing.

Event Description:

Teams of 1 runner/1 bicyclist/1 horseback rider will compete in 5K or 10K distances with each participant completing the 5 or 10K. Equestrian portion of the race will be held on a different section of trail from runners/bikers for safety reasons. Camping, lodging, and corrals available at Salt Creek Ranch, east of Lyndon. Complimentary lunch served following race.

What to Bring: Your own horse, bicycle, or running shoes!

Air Cap Memorial Park Trail

Built in 2012 as a joint project of the Kansas Singletrack Society and the City of Wichita, Air Capital Memorial Park Singletrack Trail provides a suburban venue for off-road bicycle riders and runners. This wooded trail system consists of three connected loops that total a distance of about 2 miles.

The Friday Night Ride is sponsored by
The Lawrence Mountain Bike Club.
It is open to all mountain bikers.
You do not need to be a club member.
It happens every Friday at 6:30, the meeting place is
The Trailhead Parking Lot.
This is about a 1 hour ride.
We meet up in the lot after the ride and have a little hang out time.
This a beginner friendly flowy trail
but it can be ridden very fast so it is fun for all.
We Do Not Ride When It Is Muddy!

What to Bring: Bring your bike and ride in the dirt. People ride everything on this trail. Klunkers, Cruisers, Single Speeds, Mt. Bikes of all kinds, cross bikes to fatties. Water bottle and an extra tube is minimal. A little cash if you plan on dining with us later. We like diners and dives.
