Are you looking for a healthy way to kick off your New Year this year? The Step 4ward Kansas initiative is a partnership between the Shawnee County Health Agency, Makin' Moves, and the Kansas Arthritis Program, and has started back up again and this time we are striving to reach one billion steps throughout 2015. The Step 4ward program is a FREE six-week program designed to give participants a fun and easy way to get moving and track their steps as they go. The program will be running through February 28th, 2015 and anyone can sign up at anytime. Weekly exercises and voluntary walks will take place every Saturday from 9:00-10:00a at the Westridge Mall food court and also from 12:15-12:50p every Monday and Wednesday at the Capitol building. Registering is extremely easy and can be done by attending any of the scheduled exercise times or by contacting Chris Omni at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 785-478-2237.
