Event Description:

This night hike will celebrate the longest night of the year with glow sticks and headlamps!

The Winter Solstice is traditionally a time to celebrate the return of the sun and to contemplate the coming season. The shortest day of the year and the longest night of the year it's a perfect time to gather outside to mark the shift of seasons.

What to expect: We will hike a loop from our fire/parking spot. The hike will include uneven terrain, steep inclines/declines and rocky areas. Dirty Girl Adventures recommends use of hiking poles for use on uneven terrain.

What to wear/bring: Headlamp/flashlight, dress in layers with a layer of synthetic fabric closest to your body to wick sweat away and dry quickly. Consider the weather and be prepared with hat, gloves, bandana, good shoes and socks.

Post Hike: We will socialize around the fire. Bring your lawn chair, dinner and beverages for post hike fire time.
