Event Description:

Adult Learn to Sail at Cheney Lake
• Adults any age above 18 year of age
• Teaching fundamental sailing skills small boats & keelboats
• Boats provided
• US Sailing certified instructors
• Introductory 3-hour classroom session including sailing terminology, sailing theory
• Hands on training for Sailing, basic boat handling skills, knot tying, water/small craft safety

Class 1: June 20, 6-9pm, June 24-25, 8am-5pm
Class 2: July 18, 6-9pm, July 22-23, 8am-5pm
Class 3: Advanced Class: August 12, 8am-5pm (previous sailing experience or completion of basic sailing class 1 or 2 required)
Classroom evening sessions held at Pathways church 2001 N. Maize Rd.Wichita, Ks.
Saturday/Sunday class held at NSA West side of Cheney Lake, Kansas.

Pre-registration is required and must be completed by mail or telephone. The registration fee for classes 1 & 2 for NSA members is $195 and for non-members $250. The fee for class #3 is $75 for members and $125 for non-members. The fee includes course materials and the use of sailboats, life-jackets, and other safety equipment. Payments may be made by check or money order only. Register early because class size is limited.
