Event Description:

The Spring board meeting will be held at the The Klinefelter Barn located on Highland Community College's Klinefelter Farm. The barn was built in the late 1800’s. It is an example of the “Swiss dairy barn” style with an overhang on the east side. The barn was blown off its foundation by a tornado in the early 1900’s and was rebuilt. KNPS members are welcome to attend the board meeting. Mr. Ganstrom will give a short powerpoint presentation of the history and future purpose for this facility to start off the meeting. Following the meeting we will botanize around the farm site and trails.

Members who plan to join us for the walk should be at the barn at 2pm.

What to Bring: For outdoor events we recommend bringing sturdy footwear, long pants, insect repellent, sunscreen, a hat and water!
