Event Description:

Join the Kansas Horse Council on the trails at Kanopolis Lake! Campers may arrive Friday afternoon; potluck dinner at shelter house at 7pm. Pancakes available Saturday morning; be in the saddle by 10am, and pack your own lunch. Return to camp around 3pm. Catered dinner at 6pm at shelter house, followed by presentation by Jim Gray, local historian/author/Exec Director of National Drovers Hall of Fame, Ellsworth. Door prizes! Hot breakfast Sunday 7-8am, followed by 3-hour ride at 9am. Reserve campsites at www.reserveamerica.com. Primitive camping and day parking also available.

What to Bring: Bring your own horse. Riders and horses should be experienced to rugged trails. Horseshoes or boots recommended. $30/KHC Members;$40/non-KHC Members; kids under 12, $15.
