Event Description:
Join Paddle KC members for an early morning paddle at the beautiful Antioch Wetlands on the north side of Hillsdale Lake. We'll paddle a combination of lake and creek areas, and hopefully see a variety of birds including bald eagles nesting over the water.
You must bring your own gear - no rentals are available. This event is free, and no boat or vehicle permit is required at this location. New and experienced paddlers are welcome.

Location Details:
Antioch Wetlands, on the northwest side of Hillsdale Lake which is about 20 minutes south of Overland Park or Olathe. Launch site is off 231st Street just west of Waverly Road. Look for a small Paddle KC sign with a balloon. Drop your boat or board at the water's edge, then park.
