Event Description:

JOIN THE DIRTY GIRLS FOR A FAMILY FRIENDLY HIKE AT LAKE PERRY! WE WILL COMPLETE A 3 MILE HIKE, AND THIS EVENT IS APPROPRIATE FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES!!! BRING YOUR DIRTY DUDE, THE KIDS AND THE DIRTY DOG (if ya got one)!!!!The Down and Dirty 3 Mile Hike is the perfect adventure for a beginner, younger Dirty Peeps, Older Dirty Peeps, New Dirty Peeps ... all Dirty Peeps!

On May 7th, we invite you to join us for an afternoon at The Point - Slough Creek Education Point off of Highway 59 at Lake Perry! This wonderful location has a paved 3 mile trail and access to some "off road" hiking sections. We will set up camp, invite some special guests (face painting, kayak photo booth, KDWP and USACE educational stations) and welcome you to an excellent Dirty Girl Adventure!

Youth pre-K through 12th grade are FREE!!! Bring them with you!
PREREGISTRATION IS ENCOURAGED FOR THIS EVENT, SO PLEASE VISIT dirtygirladventures.net and sign up at the dirtyshop!!!!

What: 3 Miles plus or minus, mostly paved walking trail along the lake. You can walk, run, stroll, wander then gather around the fire for socializing. We will include multiple special features: face painting, photo booth, informal presentations from wildlife specialists, open fields to run and play.
A donation to the Jefferson County Conservation District to assist in developing and maintaining the area will be made after the event.

In case you are wondering about our refund policy - refunds are given up to one week before the date of the event no questions asked. After that, refunds are not given unless there are exceptional circumstances. Dirty Girl Adventures may cancel an event due to weather or conditions. Everyone will receive a refund if that is the reason for the cancellation. We will hike in cool, rainy or snowy conditions. Cancellation only occurs in severe weather or other dangerous conditions.

What to Bring: Bring: water, snacks, an adult beverage, a chair, a friend, your family, fishing pole and license, binoculars, bug spray, sun screen .... this is an afternoon at the lake!

Location Details: Where: Slough Creek Conservation Point Directions: From Williamstown, Kansas at the corner of Highway 24 and 59 turn NORTH onto Highway 59. Travel northward to 70th Road turn WEST onto 70th, follow signage to Kiowa and turn left/south after crossing the bridge. The entrance will be on your left. DO NOT TAKE FERGUSON ROAD TO THIS LOCATION IT WILL TAKE YOU DOWN A NO MAINTENANCE ROAD!!
