The annual Air Capital Fly-in will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3, at Newton City-County Airport. The event begins at 8 a.m. with a pancake breakfast and continues throughout the day. Event highlights include World War II-era aircraft, many experimental aircraft, gliders, landing competitions, aviation education programs, free Young Eagle plane rides for kids age 8-16 and candy drops. Admission is $5 per carload. Flights in an A-26 Invader will also be available for an extra fee. The fly-in is sponsored by the Wichita EAA Chapter 88 and is presented as the last stop on the 2015 Fly Kansas Air Tour.
