If you are an area teacher, you might want to drop by and see this opportunity for your students as you create your future teaching plan. An RSVP is definitely required. The event will host local classrooms that will be divided into 12 stations/groups which will rotate throughout the day. The students get to pack a sack lunch to eat in the park. And to top it all off, the kids will get homemade ice-cream (furnished by the NWKCEA) and then have outdoor playtime during the lunch hour. Each student will go home with a few items that will be packed in the teacher’s bags. Included will be WildLifer Challenge brochures for each student as well as educational cd’s etc. for the teachers.
Scheduled events include the soil tunnel trailer, skins and skulls, the earth balloon, farm safety, groundwater management, water jeopardy, forestry, streambank trailer, rangeland, the buffalo box, aquatics and seeds.
