Kansas Forest Service 130th Anniversary & Arbor Day Celebration

Join the Kansas Forest Service as they celebrate this year’s Arbor Day in a big way! On Monday, April 24th, we’ll celebrate not only Arbor Day, but also turning 130 years old in 2017. We are proud to announce the unveiling of our new arboretum to the community at this event as well. There will be an educational walk on the property, our foresters will provide tree care tips, and we’ll host a tree-planting event. Around the lunch hour, Smokey Bear will make an appearance and we’ll have Mr. K’s Café food truck on site for guests to grab a bite while they stop by.
